North Korea
History:
- 1945 the Japanese were defeated in WWII and Korea was divided at the 38th parallel
- Soviet Union administered the North
- Korean War started in 1950, ended in 1953 with basically no movement in the border.

- Pyongyang was the center of Christian activity until 1945.
- 3,000 churches were demolished
- 50,000-70,000 Christians were put in prison camps
- Most pastors were killed or kicked out
- North Korea has the most severe persecution of Christians in all the world.
