Hi friends,
As most of you know I am at a Children at Risk Discipleship Training School at YWAM Madison. December 29th, me and a team of 7 other ladies will be heading to Uganda, Africa. We will spend 2 months working in a children's homes that provide care to orphans who have lost their parents to war or AIDS, sharing God's love and mercy to both women in prison and those stuck in prostitution, we may also work with people who have fled for safety from the LRA in northern Uganda. We will be spending most of our time in Kampala and Jinja.
In order to go, I need to raise about $3,500. Our team is participating in a hot chocolate fundraiser. We will hand out free hot chocolate to passersby on the UW Madison campus on December 6. It's just before finals time, when students are most stressed. A cup of hot cocoa and a smile from a stranger will warm them right up!
You can partner with us by making a pledge per hot chocolate that our group hands out. Our goal is to hand out 1,000 cups of hot chocolate (max). So if you pledge 1 cent per cup, you would support our outreach with $10; 2 cents = $20; 5 cents = $50; 10 cents = $100; etc. Anything helps!
I only need to raise $3.50 pledged per cup to go to Uganda! Please consider supporting me in this way and investing in children at risk in Uganda. Please send me a short message if you want to pledge.
